Santana’s Miraculous World Tour in Sportpaleis Antwerpen cancelled
Because of the global health measures taken with regard to the coronavirus, Santana is forced to cancel its European Miraculous World Tour in Europe, including the concert in Sportpaleis Antwerp.
Carlos Santana needs no introduction. With his unique guitar sound – one measure suffices to know that it’s Carlos who touches the strings – he’s captivated a large audience for more than 40 years and 40 records. He sold more than 100 million records, played for as many fans and was rewarded with 13 (Latin) Grammy Awards. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine put him on the list of the 15 best guitarists of all time. On 24 March, the master of the guitar will be in the Sportpaleis with his Miraculous 2020 World Tour to celebrate two milestones in his rich career: the 20th anniversary of his Grammy winning album ‘Supernatural’ and the 50th anniversary of his masterpiece ‘Abraxas’.
“When you come to a Santana concert, the miraculous happens. Miraculous means, transforming darkness into delight. When we hit the stage, we know we will touch your heart and make you dance, sing, cry, laugh and leave your baggage behind.” – Carlos Santana
